| Welcome to the Poetry Society of Tennessee. |
We are a statewide organization that sponsors contests, readings, workshops and other activities designed to help members improve their skills while enhancing the enjoyment of poetry.
Our organization has two chapters:
- The Memphis Chapter
- The Northeast Tennessee Chapter.

The Memphis Chapter holds regular meetings at 2:00 p.m. on the first Saturday of each month excluding June, July and August. Meetings are currently held at Christ United Methodist Church on Poplar Avenue across from Oak Court Mall. Click here for address and directions.
Our monthly meetings include a formal program, a contest, refreshments
and door prizes. We have an annual
festival in October.
We welcome guests and new members.
